Building for their fourth century of ministry, St. David’s Episcopal Church was faced with reconciling 300 years of growth on a single site with diverse architecture styles, different levels and significant heritage. Kimmel Bogrette took on the task of creating a master plan for the entire site. Kimmel Bogrette’s solution to this unique challenge followed the failed attempt of another firm and is based on a bold concept that includes a curved Arcade linking the three structures, conversion of the existing nave into a Fellowship Hall, and the creation of a new, 800-seat Chapel.
