Living Hope Community Church currently doesn’t have a home of its own, and has long had a dream of developing a new building to accommodate services, activities and programs, while providing a vehicle for outreach to the larger community. Parishioners want to create a contemporary building that pays homage to the agricultural roots of the central Bucks County area. Kimmel Bogrette worked with the church to develop a mission for the project that was grounded in the church’s mission of “Connecting with God, one another and the Community.” The project mission became: “Providing a welcoming home from which to reach up to God and out to the community.” The new Church Building strives to become a Beacon that will attract and reach out with welcoming arms to draw people in to warmth and comfort. Being mindful of nature’s finite resources, parishioners want to integrate sustainable design approaches for the site and building. Living Hope’s new building will be a place to do good works, build good relationships, rest, heal and grow.
