Construction is underway on the 3,500 sf addition and building renovation for the East Hempfield Township Police Department, on schedule to be complete by the end of 2019.
Kimmel Bogrette worked with East Hempfield Township to establish their main goals for the project: promote positive resident-police relations; officer security; employee security and flexibility to adapt to future needs. The designs for the renovation and the new addition take all of these goals and values into account—creating a new safe and secure entrance for police and employees while designing with the future in mind and space to expand if needed. In addition to the new police entry, the added 3,500 sf area includes new locker rooms, sally port and detention area, detectives/patrol and sergeants spaces, training space and admin offices. Construction is underway and on schedule to be complete before the end of 2019.
